In 2019, our chapter celebrated fifty years of Ikebana in the Twin Cities.
As local members of an international organization, we are motivated to connect our history to the present and bring the art of Ikebana into the future.
Ikebana has the potential to support individual and collective connection to the natural world. In the oftentimes chaotic climate of today’s world, art forms that express harmony and keep us attuned to nature and to each other are especially relevant.
As we celebrate our chapter’s milestone anniversary, we reflect on ways to increase our exposure in the Twin Cities community and beyond. We aspire to broaden our contribution to the public as we enthusiastically work to preserve and promote this wonderful art.
